Can I sell food at Separation Day?
Food vendors are restricted to local community non-profit groups in an effort to help them get fundraising support for all they do for our citizens each year. If you are one of these groups, we would love to have you participate.
Can I sell my items at Separation Day?
Personally created items may be displayed and sold in the Vintage Market. If you are a business you are welcome to apply through the Vendor Form.
Where are all of the amenities located?
Parade takes place on Delaware Street. All festival activities including live music take place in Battery Park.
Where can I park for free?
Free event parking at following lots:
• Carrie Downie Elementary (1201 Delaware St.)— Shuttle Bus running from 1pm until half hour following fireworks
• William Penn High (713 E. Basin Rd.)— Shuttle Bus running from 1pm until half hour following fireworks
• Municipal lot at 2nd & Chestnut streets
• Paved/grass lot at 4th & Chestnut streets
Free Shuttle Service
FREE Shuttle Bus Service is provided for the Separation Day fireworks. The buses will run on Saturday from 1pm until 30 minutes following the Fireworks show. There is no cost or ticket needed to take advantage of the shuttles and they are the recommended way to enter the city for the fireworks.

All Drop-Offs for the festival & fireworks will take place at corner of 2nd & Delaware streets in Historic New Castle (near Historic Court House). Those looking to ride the bus back to their parking spot after fireworks conclude should meet bus at corner of 2nd & Delaware streets. Be sure to get on the bus displaying the sign of the school parking lot where you parked.
